About

With over twenty years in private practice, I bring a depth of experience and training to my work and firmly believe that healing is possible within the context of safe relationships.

I offer individual, couples, and family therapy as well as consultation to professionals. My style is described as warm, curious, “real”, collaborative, and attuned. I brings these qualities into my work with a deep respect and curiosity for each individual's unique process.

I have completed the Level One Trainings in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy),  and draw from Psychodynamic Theory, Mindfulness, and Somatic based practices.

I work with people as they navigate transitions, relationships, stress, and grief. My clinical areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, perinatal mood disorders including postpartum depression and anxiety, and trauma.

I received a B.A. in Elementary Education and Sociology, a Master’s of Science in Special Education, and a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College. I began my career as an elementary school teacher before becoming a psychotherapist. My experience includes program development, director positions, private practice, professional consultation, and adjunct graduate teaching positions.
